Perak, 15th October 2023 – MMIS Berhad, one of the largest precision machining in Perak, officially held our groundbreaking ceremony to begin construction of new manufacturing plant MMIS Plant 3.0 in Perak, Malaysia to in line with company growth milestone.
The construction is expected to be completed by end of year 2024. Estimated built-up area of the new plant is 150,000 square feet which is 2.5 times of current production area of MMIS 2.0 Batu Gajah, Perak. The expansion is estimated to create an opportunity for job creations for local state once completed and MMIS intends to hire skilled engineers, welders, technicians, and many more to ensure smooth operations at this new plant.
The ceremony was officiated by the Board of Directors of MMIS, Mr. Loh Chin Soon, Executive Chairman; Mr. Law Woo Hock, Executive Director cum CFO; Mr. Loh Chin Siang, Executive Director cum CTO; Mr. Alan Yong, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Wallace Chew, General Manager; and Ms. Lingo Seah, Senior Business Development Manager, as well as other top management members.
MMIS has been continuously expanding its facilities and capacities in precision fabrication services such as building new factories and purchasing new cutting-edge machines to cater for the growth of local market. MMIS is aimed to allocate its resources to manufacturing of precision engineering parts for semiconductor industry as there is greater interest and demand from customers in this industry.
MMIS has a clear growth strategy. In order to achieve its ambitious goals, MMIS is rapidly expanding to new plant with bigger production area and modern equipment. Here MMIS Plant 3.0, we will set the worldwide process and quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectation.
